A little bit about me
It all started when...
I got my first camera, a bright yellow Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles themed point and shoot that used 110 film. It was 1990, and I was five.
Ever since then I've had cameras around and enjoyed capturing my own perspective, because after all that is really all that photography is. When digital cameras became accessible to me it opened a new world of instant gratification and direct feedback. I learned almost everything I know from painstaking trial and error, researching gear and techniques as I went.
As I write this in 2017 I am 32, and while the tools I use and what I do with them have changed a lot since I unwrapped that little plastic camera, the childlike wonder remains. I learn every time I pick up a camera, and I like to think that my passion for what I do comes through in my work.
